Oh, the muffins at breakfast were a delight-soft, fluffy goodness! I stumbled upon Le J'Go just a hop away, serving up some scrumptious local dishes, and the owners were like old friends.
Mind the stairs if you're packing heavy. Still, the comfy vibes made it all worthwhile.

The staff were really kind and extremely cordial, and we could use wake up calls and ironing free of charge. Excellent food and functional room - had an excellent stay. The breakfast was very good, the check in was friendly

And how can a historic hotel not provide cooler rooms? I almost thought to give a good review, but then I realized, I received no special treatment . What a letdown.

Warm welcome. Excellent location for airport bus and very central. Large, if 'faded glory' room.

Had a canny stay, like! The owner was dead friendly, sorting our bags and giving tips on getting about. Room was proper spacious and clean, can't fault that. Only downside? Mind the stairs—might be a trek if you’ve got heavy bags, man.

the central location in Toulouse and the obliging nature of the owner/manager. Because of train timetable problems we did not arrive until well after closing time, but having been informed of this, the owner was more than happy to await our arrival. He speaks excellent English.

A nice quiet hotel in a side street between the railway station and Toulouse Centre Ville. Close to Capitole and shops/restaurants. Toulouse has a very walkable city centre. Some may be put off by nearby shops/clubs selling "erotica" but don't be. Rue Heliot is quite quiet and handy for everything.
Access to rooms is via a wooden staircase. If unthinking (selfish?) guests leave at unearthly hours in the morning and also take many trips up and down the stairs to unload their rooms (which happened to us) then you will be woken up as early as them!
